The Agnes Reynolds Jackson Fund is a nonprofit organization providing financial assistance to women seeking an abortion. Since its founding in 1992, the Fund has raised money for their mission, and now welcomes supporters to their Beers for Choice event.

17 Toledo-area yoga and fitness studios have joined together as ONE, in collaboration with ProMedica, to host an outdoor yoga festival, Sunday, September 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Promenade Park. The all-day event, featuring yoga and meditation, fitness workshops, cooking demonstrations, wellness seminars, vendors, and other activities to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Craft beer lovers rejoice.

The City of Toledo, Metroparks Toledo and various local organizations have partnered with Charleston-based Gotcha Bikes to bring 100 bicycles and 18 docking stations to Toledo this summer.

People came together on July 28 for a block party and dedication ceremony sponsored by the church, with support from the Art’s Commission and the city’s Sustainability Commission, a group of local advocates educating and promoting sustainability.

With over 100 watercraft, the dock areas will be packed with displays along with local vendors, food and live music.
