ADAI (Assistance Dogs for Achieving Independence) is part of The Ability Center’s work for people with disabilities. If this is a cause that is dear to your heart, and you love puppies (who doesn’t?), now is your chance to get involved.
ADAI just got another round of adorable new puppies that need to be socialized. The program is called Puppy Smart Start, and it is an important aspect of ACT’s mission to make Toledo the most disability-friendly community in the U.S. Visit abilitycenter.org to volunteer.
If you are looking to help out ADAI in other ways, the organization is looking for locations to host Hug a Pup, an event where the puppies/future service dogs are available for hugs, a perfect way to socialize them and raise awareness about what ADAI is all about. If you have suggested locations for this event, contact ACT at [email protected].
