Toledo is home to a thriving Latino population, with venues like the Believe Center and Sofia Quintero serving as hubs of cultural and social importance. El Corazon de Mexico Ballet Folklorico, a dance company performing historical dance rooted in the traditions of the 32 regions of Mexico, is hosting a Tamale Cook-Off to assist the group in traveling and performing at Disney World in Florida. Visitors will sample locally made tamales, while supporting the cause, what a delicious proposition.
