Toledo is currently a finalist for a grant that would fund a series of free concerts in Toledo all summer long in 2016. The UpTown Association is proposing the venue to be UpTown Green Park (on Madison Ave. between 18th and 20th Streets), which would serve as a second home for all concertgoers if the Toledo receives the Levitt AMP Grant.
Sponsored by Levitt Pavillions, the national nonprofit that supports large, free concert series nationally, the Levitt AMP grant would offer us up to $25,000 in matching funds to produce an outdoor concert music series. This series would provide free entertainment for everyone in Toledo next summer, and would is sure to bring life into downtown from the surrounding region.
