Ohio is for Ohio Lovers—Labatt’s ‘Loving Ohio’ the Summer of 2018

Ohio is for lovers. We know, we know. And this summer, Labatt USA is doing the loving for us. ‘Loving Ohio’, a program recently announced by Labatt USA, will feature limited-edition graphic cans of the original Blue and Labatt Blue Light.

Partnering with Lake Erie Waterkeeper, Labatt’s prioritizing its efforts to promote (pardon the word-play) ‘responsible’ stewardship. Whole new meaning to ‘drink responsibly’, we think. And don’t you dare throw that can into the water.

The beer company, headquartered in Buffalo, NY, has invested $10,000 to the Lake Erie Waterkeeper coalition—part a more comprehensive, larger endeavor funded by more than $100,000 throughout the Great Lakes region.

Lisa Texido, brand manager for the Labatt Family, states the following: “Not only is clean water required to make great beer, but is also means recreation on the water. By working to improve our water footprint, we’re also able to impact our communities to help ensure everyone can swim, boat, and enjoy our local waterways throughout the summer.”

We can’t help but agree! The lakes, the rivers… a watered-down Ohio pride is something you won’t find anywhere close by.

The cans will feature favorite water hot-spots: Edgewater Park, Arch City, Put-in-Bay, Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Available in all locations that sell LB and LBL 24-packs.
