The cultural history of Toledo is rich and deep with flavor, and that’s what Chef Drew Ruiz aims to highlight with his latest project, Chef Ruiz On The Go. Previously employed by the Toledo Museum of Art as their executive chef, Andrew now aspires to deliver fresh, seasonally-rotating menus year round— via bicycle. That’s right— he will ride through Toledo’s streets, even the inevitable slush and snow, to deliver lunch to the Uptown, downtown and Old West End crowds. Chef Ruiz and wife, Tracy, team up for The Chefs Ruiz Catering, a health-conscious catering business that has evolved into a fully educational experience teaching the importance of nutrition.
