Pack a lunch for a full day of adventure at the Metroparks Toledo Oak Openings Preserve during a 16-mile hike across the Scout Trail. Known for the variety of ecosystems found within its domain, Oak Openings Preserve has forests, savannas and prairies that you’ll see on your hiking excursion. Wear layers and good hiking boots for this moderately difficult hike (for adults only). Pack a light lunch, snacks and water.
