The fertile land of the Midwest supports a variety of crops. The Ohio Sustainable Farm Tour and Workshop Series focuses on 32 farms statewide with Community Urban Agriculture Tours. One local featured farm is The University Church (TUC), home to eight acres of lush greenery and a campus full of small-scale agriculture practices such as beekeeping and hoop houses, as well as a thriving community garden. Tours will explore the importance of sustainable growing practices and how to apply these techniques in your own backyard. Tours are at select locations throughout Ohio until November 13.
