Last December, Steve Kear, owner of Perrysburg’s My Daily Grind Coffeehouse, began roasting his own green coffee beans with a small, low cost roaster. Since then, he’s picked up quite a knack for roasting. Kear just won a bronze award for coffee roasting in the Compak Golden Bean North America 2016 coffee roasters competition held this past September in Portland, Oregon.
