A Toledo woman was booked into the Lucas County jail late Tuesday night and charged with making false alarms after claiming a strange man tried to kidnap her at the corner of Byrne and Glendale. The woman confessed to fabricating the story and stated that she did it in order to make her ex-boyfriend feel so bad for her that they would get back together.

A Bowling Green man was arrested for assault on Monday after slapping a co-worker twice across his calf. The suspect slapped the victim because the victim was singing and the suspect did not enjoy it. There were no visible injuries on the victim.

Police have identified two suspects in a robbery that occurred on July 1st at the Toledo Country Club. The two suspects allegedly cut the lock off the deep freezer and stole multiple steaks and racks of ribs.
