FreeGarden Earth compost bins

Recycling is for the eco-friendly; composting is the territory of the eco-committed. The Lucas Soil and Water Conservation District is helping make that committed leap a little easier by selling FreeGarden Earth compost bins for $50, offering a no-assembly solution for all the kitchen scraps and yard waste that might otherwise go to a landfill. As spring approaches, take this opportunity to begin composting  and to contribute to the area’s go green efforts. The bins are available for pick-up anytime between 8am and 4:30pm at the organization’s office, 130-A W. Dudley Rd., Maumee. 419-893-1966. co.lucas.oh.us.
