Toledo Museum of Art Presents Car Culture Films

Cars are a central part of the American — and, especially, the Midwestern — experience. Through Life is a Highway and Find One in Every Car, the TMA is spending this summer celebrating and examining that pivotal role in our art, culture, and imagination. These films show cars as a means, through adversity and disillusionment, to change one’s scenery, circumstances, and even destiny. These Saturday screenings will provide entertaining, educational opportunities for visitors of all ages. 7.11, Duel (1971). 7.18, Two-Lane Blacktop (1971). 7.20, The Crowd Roars (1932). 7.25, Vanishing Point (1971). 7.27, The Grapes of Wrath (1940).
