Joe Nugent
13 ABC Sports Reporter
6'0'' 172lbs
Joe's got absolutely no boxing experience, but he's a quick study! He's going to rely on his athleticism and quick wits. And please — not in the face! A black eye or broken nose won't look so good on the nightly news…
Sgt. Tony Castillo
Oregon Police Division
5'7'' 165lbs
Sgt. Castillo has been a police officer for more than 21 years. He's currently the Community Policing / Support Services supervisor, where he oversees the division's community policing, crime prevention and juvenile diversion programs. He's thrilled to participate in Celebrity Boxing event, both because of the positive impact the IBC has on the lives of youth, and because he gets to cross "celebrity boxing" off his bucket list. His prediction for the fight? "Pain." He doesn't say whose.
Mike Baumgartner
Manager, Toledo Tent and Party Rentals
5'9 205lbs
A Sylvania native, Mike has always been involved in the community — and he's always been fascinated by the boxing scene. He's tried his luck in two Toledo Tough Man contests, though there's no word on how he did! Mike knows that if he can get even one kid off the street through beating someone up, it will all have been worth it.
Hans J. Vetter
Owner, Vetter Fitness
5'10" 190lbs
Yep, the old one. This isn't his son, Hans Vetter, age 26, or his 15-month-old grandson. This is the Vetter family patriarch, and he's ready to take care of business. He might have spent 30 years in corporate America, but his first love is fitness, after all. He's ready for action, and do you want to bet against him?
Nick Kimpon
Firefighter/Paramedic, Toledo Fire & Rescue Department
5'11" 225lbs
Nick is eager to give something back to the community and help keep kids out of trouble. He's coached youth football for 10 years, and loves inspiring them to be the best they can. He also relishes any chance to look a little silly and have fun doing it!
Marlene "The Tank" Metti
Toledo Fire & Rescue Department
5'3" 150lbs
Marlene sees every what Harry Cummins and the IBC do for area kids, teaching them how to work hard and become better people, and she's thrilled to do her part to help. She also get a kick out being part of a night involving cops, firefighters, derby girls — and boxing! What's not to like?
Nick Amrhein
3BYONE Media
5'8 170lbs
Nick's from Toledo, but he's spent some time in LA and he brings a hip, street-level sensibility to his video and photography work. So many he's nobody's idea of a bruiser — but he's glad his company can back a great cause in the city he grew up in. Don't count him out!
Steve Braun
President and Beautiful Spokesmodel, Car Stereo One
5'11 218 3/4 lbs.
Steve might be beautiful, and he might install car stereos for a living. But he cares about the community, too — he's excited to launch this year's Christmas toy drive for Lucas County Children's Services. So he's not above getting in the ring and taking (and dishing out) a few shots for a terrific cause!
