Pick up a fork and join fellow foodies for the second Top Chef Maumee Valley event, held at Maumee Valley Country Day School. On Saturday, May 18, guests will sample appetizers as well as desserts crafted by the ‘Cheftestant Teams,’ comprised of some of Toledo’s best restaurant cooks, and vote for their favorite by tipping their favorite team and/or voting for the People’s Choice award. In addition to the amazing food, the event will have a live and silent auction hosted by master of ceremonies Jerry Anderson of Channel 11 news, with a grand prize of $5,000. Top Chef Maumee Valley will be held under a tent on the Anning Lawn (located behind the Upper School) and is an informal event, so dress for the weather and comfort. 6pm.
