The Toledo Botanical Garden’s outreach garden, Toledo GROWs, has been spearheading the community gardening movement around the city and is a hub of support for more than 120 local gardens. Located on three acres of prime downtown soil, Toledo GROWs provides everything for a flourishing garden, from free seeds to workshops, tool loans and gardening advice. This tour will show you firsthand how an urban farm generates beauty and life in the inner city, while bringing the community together in a healthy (and delicious) way.
