Valentine’s Day dinner becomes a little more interesting when Liz Fowler, owner of The Savory Suite, is in charge. Though the culinary whiz is already spoken for, she’s still willing to spend Valentine’s Day with you — she’ll host an interactive cooking demo and tasting on Thursday, February 14, demonstrating a practical-yet-romantic make-ahead menu of cauliflower soup with seared scallop, beef wellington tart and chocolate pots de creme (“It’s always a win-win. There are very few people who don’t like chocolate,” Fowler says). The evening is open to couples and singles alike, who’ll be greeted with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and a recipe booklet.
