Treo's fourth annual Summer in Paris event turns the idea of black tie on its head in celebration of the coming season — white food, white wine, white decor and an all-white dress code. The elegant affair is inspired by the European "Celebration Solstice d'ete," and benefits the Beach House Family Shelter. The downtown street near Treo's entrance will be closed to make way for a white tent and welcoming party, with champagne and appetizers to go around and a silent auction to kick off the philanthropy. The five-course French meal is a surprise crafted by house chef Brett McIntosh. "All I can tell you is he did his French homework," says Kim Kaplan, co-owner of Treo and board member at Beach House Family Shelter. All will be revealed when the event starts at 6 pm on Tuesday, June 19th.
