Get a local taste

Like it fresh? Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA's, are growing in popularity, allowing consumers to get fresh produce from local farms on a "subscription" basis. If you're looking to find a supplier for your own veggies, or are simply curious, Whitehouse's Bittersweet Farms has a golden opportunity for you to learn more. The 80-acre farm, which benefits (and provides employment for) adults and children with autism, is holding an open house this Wednesday, August 1, from 5:30-7:30pm. The event will feature a tour of the farm, along with a cooking demonstration featuring food grown on-site. It might just leave you with a hankering for more!
