Donate $15 to the United Way’s annual Kickoff to Caring event, and you will fill a backpack with the necessary supplies a child needs for the school year. Members of the community will gather at the Huntington Center to pack 5,000+ backpacks for the school year ahead and you are welcome to participate as well. Donations will be spread across Lucas, Wood and Ottawa counties.
