“We both love entertaining and planning,” says co-owner Casey Lucio. “We realized that Toledo really didn’t have a midsize, turnkey event space where people could host without all the hassle. We wanted to make it easy for others to bring their vision to life.”

When Lucio and Smalley imagined The Gather, their goal was clear: to design a warm, functional space that takes the stress out of hosting. The venue seats up to 60 guests comfortably and features a neutral, cozy interior that adapts beautifully to any style or theme.
“The space is very neutral and comfortable,” Lucio explains. “You can do as much or as little as you want for your event. We wanted people to feel like they could walk in, decorate quickly if they want and just enjoy the day.”
With three TVs, comfortable seating and a modern, open layout, The Gather works for everything from bridal and baby showers to corporate meetings, vendor markets, podcasts and even photography sessions.
