During his tenure at the sixteenth president of Arizona State University, Michael M. Crow has led the transformation of that institution into one of the nation's best public metropolitan research universities by implementing his new model, "The New American University." On Monday, March 10, Crow will speak at the University of Toledo as a part of the University's Jesup Scott Honors College Distinguished Lecture Series. Crow will discuss how ASU has expanded its academic infrastructure while including a broad demographic of students and creating maximum societal impact. Crow has also worked as an adviser to the U.S. Departments of State, Commerce and Energy on matters of science and technology policy.
