For 15 years, Terry Shaffer, author of Illegal Gambling Clubs of Ohio, has been collecting stories and memorabilia on Toledo’s history of mobsters, bookies and illegal gamblers. He’ll share his research in a lecture on notable local criminals, followed by lunch and live music by the Cakewalk’ Jass Band.
