Mindful Activism Workshop at Buddhist Temple of Toledo

When you want to see change in the world, where do you start? With so many important causes and ways to help, it can be hard to navigate the many routes to action. Whether you’re an activist, ally or leader, consider benefiting from intentionality during the three-part Mindful Activism Workshop, hosted by Reverend Rinsen Sensei of the Great Heartland Buddhist Temple of Toledo. For three consecutive Sunday evenings, the two-hour sessions will focus on Zen mindfulness and how it applies to the stresses of political activism. “Come, let us develop our capacity for compassionate action together,” says Reverend Rinsen Sensei. For more information and to learn about the individual sessions, see online.
