  • Beads & Bookswill open at 10am Saturday, October 18 at 4925 Dorr St. The shop offers a variety of beads for jewelry-making and art projects, along with classic and contemporary literature for your perusing pleasure.   • Spud Budley's will hold a grand opening on Aug. 22 at 8261 Mayberry Square S. in Sylvania. The fun eatery specializes in potatoes with a twist—think blue crab meat or shrimp instead of your regular sour cream.
