The Lucas Soil and Water Conservation District is helping make that committed leap a little easier by selling FreeGarden Earth compost bins for $50, offering a no-assembly solution for all the kitchen scraps and yard waste that might otherwise go to a landfill. As spring approaches, take this opportunity to begin composting and to contribute to the area’s go green efforts.
