Turn standard household items into beautiful upcycled paper in a class offered by the Whitehouse Arts Advisory Board. Upcycling is a way of reducing waste by turning formerly useless items into more prized and desired goods. The paper made in class can be used for art, stationary, notebooks, or journals, and all the materials need to learn the technique will be provided (with tips from instructor Joan Soldenwagner on how to recreate the experience at home).
Classes fill fast, so register early. $25. Mon., June 18 from 6-8pm. Whitehouse Village Hall, 6925 Providence St. 419-877-5383. whitehouseoh.gov
