Toledoans Darryl and Nina Robinson love to leisurely cruise the coastline on their Yamaha Venture motorcycle. Starting in Toledo they travel east on Ste. Rte. 2, riding through Port Clinton to the Sandusky bay area (make a stop at the Metzger Marsh Wildlife Area or continue on to the beaches of Big Sand Bay) and then continue east on Ste. Rte. 6 through Huron, Vermilion and Lorain. During the two-and-half-hour ride, Darryl stays as close to the shoreline as possible. “We want to capture the feeling of flowing along with the water, to claim that wide open feeling and to catch the fresh breeze — it’s freedom," he says, smiling.
