Women’s rights activist, political powerhouse, labor rights advocate, entertainer and First Lady of Argentina, Eva Perón is a 20th century icon. In 1979, 27 years after her death, Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber commemorated her life and legacy with the Tony® Award-Winning musical, EVITA, which later became a popular film by the same name. Now, the musical celebrates its 40th anniversary with a national tour, with six performances staged in Toledo.
