All things are subject to change, and Ann Arbor-based artist Madhurima Ganguly knows this better than most. Born and raised in Kolkata, India, Ganguly’s artworks focus on the experience of migration and transience. Through abstractions, figuration and text, she challenges the intimate relationship between mythology, religion, culture, politics, and nature in our personal lives. See new paintings and drawings by Ganguly in her solo exhibition, Bodh, on view Saturday, February 2nd through March 9 at River House Arts.
Opening reception from 5-8pm on Saturday, February 2
