Bowling Green-based artist Sarah Bonham has created an intense representation of her childhood in her new exhibition with PRIZM, Another Wonderland. Nearly 50 paintings on display represent Bonham’s investigation of the activities and media from her youth, noting that “when you become an adult, we remember these things in a different way.” The exhibition’s mood travels from slightly dark places to the bright and cheery and the paintings range in mediums. A diverse arrangement of color, texture and material remind viewers that the formative years are not just in the past, but a process that we continue to revisit.
