"Albert Nobbs" Fearing a film somewhere between Howard's End and Victor, Victoria, this film definitely surprises. Bringing a deft script and a superb cast, Nobbs saves Glenn Close from a lot of the drech she's been doing as of late. The story has enough plot twists to keep one's interest. The director, Rodrigo Garcia (the son of Gabriel Garcia Marquez) never lets the story linger too long on one plot line, which keeps the film moving nicely.
