Old and new combine with mystical results in 20 North Gallery’s newest exhibit, In Otherworlds, featuring new and existing works by two critically acclaimed Toledo artists, Craig Fisher and Daniel Hernandez. Despite different styles and media, both artists explore themes of science, technology and spirituality regarding the differences between what we see and what we believe. Fisher uses traditional printmaking methods to create beautiful, futuristic landscapes. Hernandez juxtaposes religious, mythical and contemporary imagery for thought-provoking, and sometimes humorous, paintings. A public reception will be held 6-9pm Friday, July 21. On view through September 30. Noon-4pm & 4:30-9pm, Wednesday-Saturday.
