Take some time out of the busy work week to enjoy an enchanting evening of fine art in Downtown Toledo.
On the first Thursday of every month, a new artist will be featured for a one-night-only pop-up exhibit.
The pop-up exhibit is held at Rennaissance’s rooftop restaurant and bar, The Heights.
Take in the beautiful sights of both Downtown Toledo and the Maumee River while enjoying an evening of fine artwork, stimulating conversation and a complimentary wine tasting from The Heights.
The event is open to the public. Admission and wine tastings at the First Thursday events are free and food from The Heights is available for an additional charge.
All artworks exhibited will be available for purchase at both the event and 20 North Gallery following the event until the end of the month.
The event also gives attendees the opportunity to speak with the artists about their work.
20 North Gallery’s First Thursday series will feature a different fine artist each month.
The February First Thursday is Thursday, Feb. 8 from 7 pm to 9 pm, featuring artwork from Kay Weprin. Weprin is a Toledo-based artist, known for her vibrant and colorful works.
Weprin’s work has been displayed in numerous galleries all over Ohio and has won several awards.
Last month, to kick off the series, they featured Joel A. Fremion, a Fort Wayne, Indiana artist who creates fabric collages.
Follow its website for updates on who will be featured each month.
