Phil Barone and The Cruisers to Perform Jim Morrison Tribute Concert

Phil Barone and The Cruisers to perform at the Maumee Indoor Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 7 pm to benefit a good cause.

Barone, owner of many local favorites including Rosie’s Italian Grill, Rosie’s The Rolling Chefs and Rosaria’s on Third is partnering with the band, The Cruisers for a one-night-only special Jim Morrison Tribute Concert. 

The night will feature music by The Doors played by a full band, with Jim Morrison on lead vocals, Pat McDonagh playing lead guitar, Mike Perzynski on bass, Nate Woodward on keyboard, Bile Leonhardt on drums and a small horn section, with John Grafig on trumpet, Al Ashby on tenor sax and Melanie Case playing the trombone.

Doors open at 6 pm for the concert. The evening’s opening act Mikey “Blue” Baron takes the stage at 7 pm. Phil Barone and The Cruisers will begin their performance at 8 pm. 

General admission for the concert costs $25. VIP tickets are also available. VIP guests receive access to the VIP bar and cocktail service throughout the show. Tickets to the concert are available through Eventbrite or at The Maumee Indoor Theatre the day of. 

All of the money brought in from the concert will be donated to The Dyslexia Education Training Center. The center helps students learn skills to navigate life with their condition, with a success rate of 100%.
