Audition Workshop, the Village Players and Upton Players
Looking to try your talents on stage? Open to both newcomers and experienced players, the Village Players and the Upton Players Educational Program are holding audition workshops. Notable Northwest Ohio directors Barbara Barkan, Derek Hansen, and Larry Farley (10am-1pm) will be helping fine tune non-musical auditions followed by musical directors, Wes Skinner, Pat Flanagan, and Bill Quinlan (2-5pm). The directors will be offering this workshop for free. The only thing they want prepared is a 2-3 minute monologue or a 3-5 minute musical number accompanied by sheet music or a CD. Children of Eden starts with God creating the universe and breathing life into Adam and Eve. The show takes an in depth look at the relationship between parents and children.
