Remember when country music wasn’t pop music with a banjo? Harken back to the classic days of real country with Sweet Dreams and Honky Tonks (SD&HT). Featuring the music and lives of Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn and Johnny Cash, SD&HT is a new revue show that pairs the music of yesteryear with the stories of the folks who sang it. Starring Tom Waselchuk & Lindsey Juarez backed by The Dang-Its— 2013’s Madison Area Music Awards’ Country/Bluegrass Performer of the Year. Come for the large assortment of classics, including “Ring of Fire” and “Hey, Good Lookin,’” and enjoy the performance of some dedicated fans of good ol’ downhome music. 7-10pm.
