Visit Hollywood Casino Wednesday, June 29, to celebrate the NWO Chapter of the American Red Cross turning 100. Since June 1916, the local chapter of the organization has provided assistance and compassion across our region.
“You only turn 100 once, so we wanted to throw an epic centennial birthday party where the entire community can join in the celebration,” said Rachel Hepner-Zawodny, Executive Director for the Northwest Ohio Chapter of the American Red Cross. The 2016 Centennial Celebration, an evening of music with country superstars, Old Dominion, and sweetheart, singer-songwriter, Cassadee Pope.
Old Dominion has a vast resume, which includes Country Music Award nominations. Hailing from Nashville, Old Dominion’s first full-length album, ‘Meat and Candy’, has been referred to as a “deceptively smart, occasionally cheeky, stellar debut”.
Making history as the first female winner of the popular TV show The Voice, Cassadee Pope’s 2013 solo country album, ‘Frame by Frame’, debuted at No.1 and her single, ‘Wasting All These Tears’, is certified platinum and featured on a duet with fellow country musician, Chris Young.
