Looking to enjoy a tasty beverage while shopping for a great bargain? Maumee Bay Brewing Company is hosted another Thrift and Sip event for those to enjoy some shopping and sipping in the good old 419.

Maumee Bay Brewery is located in the Historic Oliver House a long-standing historical building that is a piece of Toledo history. Originally opened as a hotel back in 1859 by William Oliver it was also among the first hotels in the US that provided a fireplace in every room along with bathrooms with running water on every floor. A hotel ahead of its time but also one that holds many stories within its walls. However, as the city kept growing down the street the hotel had suffered and by 1880 the building fell into hard times and disrepair.

The building was then used for various purposes until it was acquired in 1990. Slowly the building was brought back to life and restored to the beautiful building it is today.
