How Monique fills up her glass (city)

Age: 29

Occupation: Owner of Pozativ ProMotions, LLC & Co-Owner of Quality Management · International Talent Agency

Toledoan since: 2005

The hardest thing about living in Toledo is knowing that there are so many talented and creative people waiting to exercise their full potential, but the best thing is that there’s so much hidden opportunity.

The first three words that come to mind about Toledo are Glass, Art, Swamp

When I am feeling a bit too much of Saturday night on a Sunday, I can always rely on Unity of Toledo Spiritual Center to make my day better.

The artists and musicians I love are Ramona Collins (above), Chris Shutters & FU5ION band

If I ever forget to buy a present for a special occasion, I know that Style 5:16 Boutique will hook me up with a great gift.

Too many people (especially those who have never been here) think that Toledo is some barren wasteland, but I’ve made my career as a marketing manager in this bustling Glass City.

My favorite night out in Toledo was at Kobe Bay for their NYE 2016 party.

The street I drive/walk on most often is Monroe Street.

Going to Perrysburg makes me feel like I am out of town.

The Zombie Crawl is my favorite annual event.

I wish Murphy’s Jazz Club was still open.
