It's not important that a lot of people think Bruce Springsteen has lost his lustre and is an unimportant factor in today's music. The fact of the matter is that he is one of the most sincere, hard-working, intelligent men in rock ‘n roll today. The fact that he and his music are still vital, after 39 years, is testament enough. “Wrecking Ball” is far from a perfect endeavor, but there's enough meat on the bones to make it worth the bite. Bruce continues to try new ideas with the support of one of the best bands in the land. Not to mention that he still does 3+ hour shows when he takes it on the road. That never fails to put a smile on my face.
