Were you at this year’s Barefoot at the Beach event?
Hundreds of people came to this annual event at Maumee Bay State Park to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo.
More than 30 restaurants set up booths on the beach to serve specialty items to attendees. Establishments like Lupita’s Cantina, The Standard, Souk Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar, Fusian and more mixed and mingled with the crowd through select bites.
Volunteers for the event helped guide the crowd through the evening, and Premier Pour Bartending served cocktails and canned drinks at the cash bar.
The crowd also enjoyed dancing and singing along to Life Celebrations DJ and the Intrigue Band.
In between eating, drinking and dancing, attendees sat around the fire pits, took photos in the photo booth lounge and walked along the beach. Toward the end of the night, everyone was treated to a fireworks show.
The crowd turned up in high numbers for a successful fundraiser and, due to popular demand, the event ran longer than years past and ended at 11 pm.
