Raise the roof

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library is commemorating  their 175th anniversary this summer — and what better way to celebrate than by throwing a rooftop party downtown? On Sunday, September 6, the Main Library will host Rockin’ the Rooftop, a party on top of the building, for T-Town’s young professionals. The bash will feature the rippin’ country-tinged jams of Kentucky Chrome along with savory tastings by Poco Piatti, a cash bar and a live mural creation by local Toledo artists! Attendees can purchase a section of the mural to benefit the library’s Early Literacy Campaign, which provides young children with learning and reading experiences. Cocktail casual attire is requested, and tickets must be purchased by August 26. 6pm. $20. Main Library, 325 Michigan St., Toledo.
