Marketplace changes

Tea lovers rejoice — Elaine’s Tea Shoppe has finally found a new home at 3115 W. Sylvania Ave., three blocks east of Secor Rd. The shop, which was founded in 2001 by Elaine Terman, hopes to re-open its doors to the public by mid-June.  Check the shop’s home page at www.thetealeady.com or their Facebook page: Elaine’s Tea Shoppe for more information.

As of May 1, All Crumbs Artisan Bakery will no longer be baking as a business. According to their Twitter account, owners Kelly Thompson and Gabe LeMay “no longer have the space or free time to continue such a big production.” Their goods were formerly available at the Toledo Farmer’s Market and at a space next door to Glass City Cafe.

The new office will be located at the One Maritime Plaza off of Walnut St. and will be managed by former director of strategic initiatives at JobsOhio, Anneliese Grytafey. Visit their website www.EDCI.org for more information.

B’s Café, formerly, Chili Jack’s, located at Mayberry Square off of Centennial Rd. and owned by Mayberry resident Brenda Boudrie, is officially open for business from 11am–8pm Monday thru Saturday. The restaurant offers comfort foods ranging from hot dogs to BBQ beef sandwiches, had their grand opening on Friday, May 3. 419-517-8451.

Potbelly’s Sandwhich Shop, owned by Toledoan Jeff Gibbs, is searching for a  second storfront in Perrysburg. Patrons can expect the new restaurant to be open in the fall. www.potbelly.com.

Downtown Sylvania boutique, The Pink Door is closing this month. Owner Shannon Scully announced the news on the shop’s Facebook page late last month.
