Hop Chef is back for a fourth year at Maumee Bay Brewing Company. Hop Chef – Season 4 will take place Thursday, Sept. 26, 6-9pm on 201 Morris St.
“Get ready for the ultimate culinary showdown,” event organizers wrote on EventBrite.
Seven local chefs will face off during this culinary competition. Each chef will prepare a dish chosen at random to pair with a Maumee Bay Brewing Company Beer.
Chefs participating this year include Maumee Bay Brewing Company’s own, Damian Clarke, Nicholas Scott from Wild Side Downtown, Jordan Krieg from Assembly American Brasserie, Chef Alex from SAME Café Toledo, Zachary Tyler Moser from Benchmark, Chef Marchel from Marcel’s and Chef Joseph Jacobsen from Cork & Knife Provisions.
Guests will get the chance to sample each dish and each beer during the event.

Every year the brewery chooses an organization to donate the funds raised to. This year, Maumee Bay Brewing Company is rasing money for Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity.
Tickets for Hop Chef – Season 4 can be purchased on EventBrite. Tickets to the event cost $75 per person or $650 for a VIP table of 6 to 10 guests.
