Shop local for your holiday gifts this season with the Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo at Handmade Hanukkah.
The event will be held on Sunday, Nov. 19 from 11:30 am to 3 pm at the Congregation B’nai Israel, 6525 Sylvania Ave. Admission is free.
Handmade Hanukkah will showcase local Jewish artists’ work, including “textiles and photography to jewelry, pottery and more,” Hallie Freed from the Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo said in a statement.

“Shop local, support your community and find outstanding gifts for your loved ones right before the holidays,” Freed said.
Twenty different artists and vendors will join the Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo to showcase their talents at the celebration.
In addition, there will be music and a kosher potato bar with “salads and sweet treats”, according to its Facebook.
Food can be purchased in advance for $10 or at the door for $15 for adults. Children 16 and under are free.
Kids will also have a variety of options for activities to join in on the fun. Children activities include:
- “Waddle N Move” soft play area (ages 6 months – 5 years)
- Face Painting
- Make your own painted canvas tote with “Spin and Splat”
- Hanukkah crafts – Make special gifts for family and friends!
- Inflatable games
- Shooting Stars Basketball
- Giant Soccer Dart
- First Down Football
