UT’s 21st Annual Banned Books Week Vigil

Many have sacrificed for Americans’ right to read what we want. Commemorate these literary heroes during the American Library Association’s nationally recognized Banned Books Week (September 23-29) at the University of Toledo’s 21st annual Banned Books Week Vigil. The full day event will include a series of presentations, door prizes and banned book giveaways every half hour, and a talk at noon by Charlene Gilbert, Dean of UT’s College of Arts and Letters and Dr. Linda Smith.
