Many have sacrificed for Americans’ right to read what we want. Commemorate these literary heroes during the American Library Association’s nationally recognized Banned Books Week (September 23-29) at the University of Toledo’s 21st annual Banned Books Week Vigil. The full day event will include a series of presentations, door prizes and banned book giveaways every half hour, and a talk at noon by Charlene Gilbert, Dean of UT’s College of Arts and Letters and Dr. Linda Smith.
