While the two liquids do not typically mix, both water and oil will be featured in a new exhibition of work from two local artists, Dr. Bahu Shaikh and Steven J. Athanas. Watercolors and Mixed Media by Shaikh and Athanas will include watercolor and acrylics by Dr. Shaikh, who learned to paint in oils as a child in Karachi, Pakistan and developed his talent during medical school in the United States. Prolific artist and musician, Steven J. Athanas, will show whimsical, eclectic works in mixed media.
