For a story about self-help economic justice, the 1922 feature film Robin Hood was a serious investment. With a budget just shy of a million dollars, the film, starring Douglas Fairbanks, was pricey for Hollywood at that time, but became a box office success touted almost a century later. Watch the silent vigilante film, with the score performed live by organist Clark Wilson, during the TMA’s Sound of Silents screening.
