Sylvania Writes Out Loud Poetry Slam

Kick off First Friday with Sylvania Writes Out Loud on Friday, October 3, from 6–8 pm. Poets of all ages and experience levels take the stage to share up to three original poems, with audience members serving as judges. Not a performer? Come to listen, cheer and soak in the energetic, community-driven atmosphere. Sign-ups start at 5:30 PM; the series continues monthly on Nov. 7 and Dec. 5.
