While you aren’t supposed to judge a book by its cover, most people do. A graphic designer will explain to you, it’s for good reason: a book cover is your first impression, a one-way ticket to escape into pages away from immediate reality. AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) Toledo’s summer show, “Away With Words,” will celebrate the beauty of a cover by setting up a library of artwork inspired by literary pieces, made by local artists. Dive into sci-fi, romance, drama, and more during this fundraising show, all proceeds benefiting AIGA Toledo.
